you don’t need a weapon that boosts BH to use bone harvest
but when you use bone harvest in your build you dont’ want the dmg wasted
“if you are a cold ritualist/binder/reaper/Xx”, and you incorporate BH into your build, because cold dmg, even if BH isnt’ the main of your build (only vit weapons support BH main); then you’re pissing away dmg without that conversion every BH cast
*and like last time i’m guessing it’s just part of a legacy balancing thing/+thematic, but it does aid cold necros
