Hello everyone. Maybe already talked about this.
I want to inform you that there are problems with poison damage in patch 1.3.0. As you can see in the screenshots, ordinary ordinary monsters leave behind pools of poison for 2000+ damage per second. At the beginning of the game, the simplest zombie throws a poison bomb at us, which deals almost 500 damage per second. There are no such problems with other types of damage, and their damage figures are 5-10 times lower. Before patch 1.3.0, there were no such problems or damage with poison from ordinary mobs.
pool dmg can stack
and aoe from burst can overlap too
Don’t stand in Ravna phase 1 repeated pools, side step her triple projectile if your defences can’t handle eating it yet (not just a little, aoe burst radius is much larger than the ball itself)
*also phys dmg was added to those attacks now Swarm Queen Ravna - Grim Dawn Monster Database so can’t coast on pure poison res vs her
I feel for new players who are going to get destroyed and won’t have a clue why.
There is something, I don’t know, just odd about some bosses.
Won’t go into book level details but I purposefully took a obscenely tanky, low dps character (worse then Gnome’s video of Fire EoR) and stood in front of certain bosses (over 50 times each) with over 5k LpS and still went from 20k health to zero faster then I could push the pot button with my finger on it (and this was through circuit breakers like tinkers belt and such) Mutators made little to no difference.
Going to go back to brooding over the loss of conversion on ascendant items now.
