Build 18 is live - Let the crafting begin!

Have been testing b18 for few days. Changed my mind about +% spirit nerfs - it’s totally ok. But I still think that Doom Bolt needs a little boosting, for example, decreasing its cooldown by 1 sec or something like that.
Also, drop rates of items and crafting reagents are almost perfect, maybe 2-3 % increase will be fine.

Want epic or legendary pistol with +% chaos damage badly =)

have been playing the B18 for a couple of days now. so far it is a nice edition to the game, i like the idea to run around and kill mobs for recipes but… (yes there is always a catch) for the love of god… i can’t get any ancient heart or blood of ch’thon… where do you find these or who do you have to kill?

this is my only problem so far because, i can’t make any of the relics or other materia :frowning:

(have been playing 3 days straight)
maybe this i will come in handy, my farming route: sunken passage, Depraved sanctuary, Hallowed Hill, the warden laboratory, spined cove, staunton mine, four hills, arkovian undercity, Steps of tourment and smugglers pass.

I do not think so but remember that crafting an epic item will also include a bonus stat from the blacksmith who crafts it. It’s only a minor bonus but still that can make a difference.

Oh, you mean a bonus that is not on the uniques that drop ? That does make it interesting…

Yes Angrim will give either 3-7% pierce resistance, 3-7% increased armor protection or 3-7% physical damage on any item he creates.

Duncan will give either 5-11% increased energy regeneration, 3-5% elemental resistance, or 3-7% elemental damage.

This information is shown next to the Combine button.

I was in the understanding that the smith bonus will applied to all crafted item.am I mistaken?

If you carefully read my post that is exactly what I am saying. Any 1 of the three bonuses will be applied to any item the blacksmith creates. Except potions and most likely relic I would imagine.

Looks really great, good job!

can somone tell me where to find angrim searchd whole burwitchoutskirt 3 times and im not finding him

It’s not far from where you get the quest. Just act like you are going to Depraved Sanctuary… But don’t actually “go” that particular way. Search more carefully off a branching path near that general area.

Look more carefully at your map around that area and I suspect you will find that you didn’t search the whole of the Outskirts as well as you would have liked to think you did.

I really did not like new OOC regen. It’s very slow and does not make sense. OOC regen was made to make combat smooth. Player could move from fight to fight almost without waiting or spending money on potions. This made possible to make builds without healing or strong regen. For example, Stun Jacks build or Shadow Strike+Ring of Steel. Of course I used potions to heal in combat (because I had not other choice) but this happened not very often so I was not forced to buy potions. Now I forced to find some regeneration items or spent some points to healing skills just to heal between fights. Not within combat but between. This is just stupid. I even cannot leach life between combat. So developer force me to play like he like.

You’ve been on the forums enough I’d have thought you’d keep up on everything.

Here’s a dev post for ya. http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?p=157320

I don’t think they are out to get ya man and your reasoning on lots of stuff baffles even me and I’m freaking weird enough.

Personally I like having to pound some pots every now and then. Reminds my toons they ain’t invincible. They need to know that.

I’m posting negative feedback!

Confirming posting of negative feedback!

OK my move then! I counter your negative with my positive feedback! But it doesn’t matter as I suspect they will change it yet again by B19.

BTW I like the idea of slow ooc regeneration while moving and very high when staying still

Grohuf you little cutie! Seems we can agree on something! Why I believe I even suggested that very thing somewhere in this thread!

I did not mean that this is my invention.

Reduced time till ooc regen activates from 3 to 2 seconds but cut the regen rate from 20x to 5x. Should make it useful for healing up without potions between fights and still possible to use if you can break out of combat but with the cost of requiring more time away from combat.

I have to agree this was overkill. It REALLY kills the flow of combat.

Take Warden for example, if I want to make sure I have a pot up, during phase change I’d run over to the corner and regen while he’s changing phases, I even had time to break the shelf after fully regening and would be back on the boss at the beginning of phase 2.

Now, run to the corner and stand there, phase changes, I’m out of agro but just stood there in the corner like a naughty schoolboy waiting for regen.

It’s like this all the time, what used to be… break off, run and return is now… break off, run and stand, wait, wait, return.

This down time is just lost time, pointless, it’s exactly the same as before but with a long pause in combat.

I am aware of this

So Grohuf, now that we are best buds I insist you tell me what a Grohuf is? Rumors are flying rampant about it and I think we should put them to rest.
