I still don’t like the idea of Exclusive skills, but I think I’m warming up to them…if only slightly.
Overall a lot to test and digest for now, though I will say one thing from first impressions - could the animation for Devastation be reverted to the old version (punching the sky and pulling your fist downwards)? The current version uses the Callidor’s/Olextra’s animation which looks a little awkward and makes it difficult to tell if the skill has gone off yet since the meteors are delayed - doubly difficult if you also use the above skills since it’s easy to mix up the animations.
Considering how many bug reports have popped up in the last four hours, I’m sure we will see a hotfix pretty soon. Some people can’t progress into Elite, some people can’t turn in bounties, some are crashing, etc.
Edit: I’m seeing a few reports of people saying the game is smoother for them now and the graphics look a lot more crisp to me than they did previously. Could just be my imagination, but I’m also not getting at lag at the top of Fort Ikon like I was in B29.
Yeah so far I haven’t noticed any lag when I rotate the camera (used to happen occasionally in B29 and before). Only thing I’ve had gone wrong is the occasional crash at the main menu.
Thanks that clears it up. Yeah essentially I was seeking clarity in a roundabout way that you were relating to balance of build viability not just catering for the ‘underperformers’ just to make everyone happy, but the underperformers ‘fixed’ to fit the balance.
The only real nerf I can tell comes from less procs per second due to atk speed capped at 200%. Might want to look at your gear and change a few components around so you are no longer over capped.
That’s the only real reason your seeing a stat sheet nerf and maybe a minor procs/second nerf.
Since this patch dropped, I’m not longer getting quests from Ulgrim. Its a bit of a problem since I was at the Rescue from Blood Grove quest from Homestead, and since I’ve completed that there is nothing. Everything else is tied into him moving to Fort Ikon and I’ve cleared everything up to and including that, but I can’t really progress without him now.
RIP old map. The new one is really too bright and cheery for GD. Any chance to tone down the colors or revert to old map with Devotion Shrine notices?
Crate, you guys need to work on your timing. Although this is a pretty sweet birthday present for me tomorrow, your build releases have not been great for me lately: B28 came out the day I went out of town for 5 days… B29 came out and I couldn’t touch my PC for 4 days due to Christmas stuff and now tomorrow’s my birthday and I’m leaving Friday for 8 days on vacation…
I think the same, seems a like a pretty descent bit too. However I cannot see it in the change log.
I was wondering if I was hallucinating or something. But really my melee guy, who already has good move speed boost is just zooming through the map now. Cant say I dislike it, Grim dawn is the Zdoom of arpg, haha.
