Build Advice, Blade Trap Trickster

Ahoy! So english istn’t my native language but i hope i get this togheter.

Well I found the Demonslayer Set and thought about giving it a spin. I looked through the forums but i didn’t find builds that are nearly like i would like to play it. The mastery points are “placeholders” because i need to take a look how long the skills scale well so feel free to shuffle those a bit. I’m not happy with the Huntress devotion because I think i have enough -bleed resi. The bonuses of the devotion itself are great but i didn’t came up with something better. Any Ideas?

The basics I thought about are te following:

  • Grasping Vines with Wendigo’s Mark (Wendigo Devotion) just for CC and HP reg
  • Blade Spirit with Rend (Huntress Devotion) erm whatever ^^
  • Phantasmal Blades with Falcon Swoop (Falcon Devotion) not realy happy with this
  • Devouring Swarm with Assasin’s Mark (Assasin’s Blade Devotion) Need to put it somewhere and at least it pirces 100% of the time
  • Blade Trap without anything
  • Mogdrogen’s Pact wit Giant’s Blood (Behemoth Devotion) because HP reg

Playstyle would be a awesomly easy Priolist like:

-Grasping Vines
-Devouring Swarm once
-Blade Trap on demand or CD
-Bladespirit on CD (if not summoned yet)
-Phantasmal Blades on CD
-Devouring Swarm as a filler

So my Question is, for all those ultimate players (and everyone else), might this work? I have a lot of CD skills, the Set has a darn Pistol as a weapon (yes i want to wear all parts of it if i cant get enough + skill) and i ask myself if i can sustain the build mana wise. Are there any component parts that might fit in as well?
I’d love some feedback and advise and some gear tips if you dont mind ^^. I’m a bit “sick” of all those builds that simply work as a charm and i like to build stuff that work but only if you don’t mess up. Farming through the game while watching streams isn’t that much of a class I realy like to play ^^, so i came up with this.

Any advise will be appreciated, thank you!

In my oppinion the Blade Trap is bad.

It’s an entrapment and therefore has it’s duration reduced on bosses because they have high resistances against that.

Thanks for your reply. I’m aware of this “problem” with Blad Trap :). This is just for trash clearing and a “CC” for tight moments. I’m aware that those points would be better spend in many ways but im more concerned about the whole concept, then one skill ^^.
