Build advice for lvl 79 warder

Keep getting nailed by steps of torment end boss. Can do the rest of the dungeon with little trouble and can get end boss down to almost nothing health. Sometimes his health bar looks empty then he one shots me??

Playing on Elite difficulty.

U should at least take Savagery instead of Forcewave, Brute force for some extra damage and Wind devil for rr

Seems like waste of skill points to have BOTH forcewave and primal strike with transmuters :stuck_out_tongue:

You need more cold resistance. He can lower it by quite a bit.

Damage wise, you need resistance reduction m8. Get raging tempest, elemental storm and arcane bomb. Ghoul is nice life saver devotion.

Have a look here, I just changed skills and devotions https://www.grimtools.com/calc/YNnWmed2 (non-optimal devotions for this kinda build, but this will not require a full devo reset but just a few changes)

This is your first character? Don’t do Steps of Torment with this build. All you need is to max cold resist, but not really worth to waste the keys on elite tbh. Farm other places where you can farm easily. About the build, the others already said. Remove forcewave completely, you can only spam 1 skill, the other skills should support this skill (or they support each other) usually. Resist reduction is very important.

Its most probably your cold resist being too low since alkamos does mostly cold dmg. you should also forget forcewave and take wendigo totem to heal you. also put 1 point in wind devil and 12/12 in raging tempest for resist reduction for dmg. the rest can go into the soldier mastery bar, putting 1 pointers along the way. something like this: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/M2glmbyV

your devo should also be respecced into something like this one’s devo: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/d2jYq9nN

if you’re too lazy to respec, just use a cold res potion and fix your build later lol

also, dw youre not wasting keys, there are plenty of opportunities to farm more

Thanks for all the replies. I like that they are all similar, gives me a clear idea of where to go from here.

Thanks.
