Hey guys, to begin i would say that i’m french and i’m sorry for the grammar errors u’ll see here
I have played grim dawn 70 hours for now and i got an arcanist level 60, my second class is nightblade but i only spent points into arcanist masteries I know it’s bad cause in the elite difficulty mobs just one shot me.
I don’t know which build i got to go for… Please someone can help me cause i don’t want to do another heroe for the moment. I tried to do an elemental damage build which is very powerful (i just do huge damages against mobs) but i can’t go further in the elite difficulty…
So if someone can tell me a good build of spellbreaker (as is it called for nightblade and arcanist) it would be appreciate !
If you want a caster, try a phantasmal blade build. His AoE dps is simply brutal.
I haven’t found a guide to link, but you may ask for further info if you chose to do so.
As quick tips, since you are deeper in the arcanist mastery and you’re lacking defense, put some point into Sphere of Protection and Mirror. Also OFF is a good skill for crowd control.
Without seeing your exact build, it is difficult to give you too many pointers. “Generally” speaking, if you’re doing tons of damage, but are getting one shot, it “typically” means you’re too offense oriented and need to work in better defensive gear/abilities. What are your resists at? You’ll want most of them, specially the top row, at 80 once you’re in elite. Typically you can let aether, slow, bleed, poison slack a little.
