Sorry if this is the wrong forum for such a post.
I’ve perused a lot of builds that I found on GrimTools, and found that most of them use roughly the same constellations (Leviathan for Ice / Azrakaa for piercing and physical damage, Ulzuin’s Torch for flaming damage, Dying God for Chaos damage etc / Giants Blood, Ghoul or Dryad for healing etc). I figured that the Berserker looks pretty cool among those constellations (don’t ask why, please), and that I never once found a build that uses that particular constellation (and Grim Tools doesn’t have the option to search by constellations).
I’ve never really crafted builds before, so I wanted to share what I came up with, and understand where I went wrong (if it’s not fully garbage, that is). Here is the link to it: Archon, Level 100 (GD 1.1.9.8) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator
I would appreciate any constructive advice, or a pointer to a nice build or build collection
1358% + 561.3% (from Cunning) + 150% (Bloodrage proc, uptimeable) = 2069.3% Physical Damage, to be precise. Is it enough though? That is another question.
I don’t think the miniscule healing it gives can justify omitting Uknown Soldier. Also 2000% without %rr is not enough physical damage to make Bear’s healing matter.
Thank you for pointing that out! How about this: Archon, Level 100 (GD 1.1.9.8) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator ? (I’m really sorry, but it seems that my changes didn’t get saved for some reason; but I basically removed the Anvil and picked the Harpy for 5 purple points and spent 1 more spare point in Unknown Soldier)
I understand that Harpy isn’t well suited for this kind of approach, but it does provide 5 points towards the Oleron constellation…
Question is, whether this will be viable at all – I mean, this build has Bleed resistance reduction from 2 sources, so theoretically, it should work – I also took care to overcap resistances, and increase DA and OA (and with buffs and procs they should be above 3k). But I’m not sure whether that’s enough, hence I’m asking for advice before wasting time on actually running this build (and ultimately getting disappointed).
Why u don’t use devotion “Mog the wolf” if you are bleeding? I agree that oleron devotion is neat but that one is a sin to not take. The amount of bleed boost it gives that is…
Well, I guess there wouldn’t be enough points for Mogdrogen, and I figured that it would be ok to get two nodes from Unnamed Soldier that give +100% and +80% bleeding damage; and with Mogdrogen I had to invest a lot, and it seems to be more intended for summons (like Briarthorn / Primal Spirit, I guess), and I thought that I should invest in high-damage attacks like Savagery instead. That’s my reasoning, though, I could be wrong, of course.
