Bull Rush Celestial bound to War Cry?

I have been using Bull Rush* bound to War Cry for like 60 levels and I finally tested it on combat dummies and looks like it is not working.

So the first question is why is there a Celestial plus Skill combo that does not work? If it doesn’t work then when I ask to bind the Bull Rush there should be NO option for me to bind it to War Cry. There should be NO option because the game design should not give a player the option to bind something that doesn’t work.

My hypothesis is that there are items that modify War Cry to make it do some type of damage and thus if I had that set up maybe Bull Rush WOULD start to work.

If on the other hand the other players on the forum tell me that it doesn’t work to put Bull Rush on War Cry even with an item that makes War Cry do damage then I suppose I could make a report in the bug report section of forum?

*Bull Rush is a constellation proc of the Bull constellation that you can bind to an active skill.

  2. Bull Rush’s visual is subtle.

Bull Rush bound to War Cry is working for me, even on training dummies.

The visual for it might be hard to spot if you’re crowded around several other enemies or have other spell/proc effects flying around but should be easy to spot when tested on a dummy. It’s a fairly small red nova around your character.

Oh I didn’t realize it had a visual. I had concluded that since I didn’t see a DoT on the training dummies then that means they are not taking the internal trauma damage of the Bull Rush. I was standing away from them.

Maybe a test right up adjacent to the training dummy will put the subtle red nova colliding with the training dummy and I will see the DoT?
