Cabalists range and aoe unfair.

Thank you for having kind words for us (or just me) conjurers out there. I’m following this https://www.grimtools.com/calc/62a67PxV

Will this be able to compete with Cabalist?

My next character is cabalist. I started playing after the expansion came out and didn’t want to skip straight into the newest pet builds and wanted to try conjurer first.

It is actually easily possible to maintain Primal Spirit with full uptime without using Time Dilation. So Primal Spirit is actually very, very good.

One combination of skills, is better supported by a certain combination, welcome to Grim Dawn.

The real question, if you even want to bring up the subject of “fair” or balanced in a single player game, is what builds is the Conjurer better at than the Cabalist? I know I have at least one that is fairly ridiculously overpowered.

/shrug. Cabalist have more burst, Conj have better sustain. Both valid, both able to clear high level content, one is safer, one is faster, choose your poison.

Both valid, both able to clear high level content
very well said

Here are my Pet build:

Cabalist: - All Pet Resist 95% - Bleed resist 64 %

Conjurer:

Amulet possibilities:
Mythical Heart of the Mountain
Mythical Sovereign Ruby of Domination
Mythical Will of Bysmiel

ps.
There is only one thing I do not like about your build.
You only have 3 meters radius on Vulnerability

Yeah I’m not following the skills only the gear.

I’m interested, how would you go about achieving this? I like primal Spirit even without 100 % uptime. I’m curently using the Bound Wraith off-Hand (https://www.grimtools.com/db/items/8594) which already works quite well.

Conjurer’s pet’s critical damage and pets’s phys res unfair! Lol!

Bound wraith, Mythical Necrolords Visage, Mythical Will of Bysmiel. You could take one of these off and run Time Dilation for permanent uptime if one of those items doesn’t suit your fancy. For example, alot of people don’t like breaking up the beastcaller set and losing the active from the helm, so you could run that instead. Or if you’d prefer Sovereign Ruby, you could drop the Will of Bysmiel. Just again, if you drop one of them, you need to run Time Dilation to get the perma uptime.

Done reading through whole post in this rant-thread.

Cabalists range and aoe unfair.

…was your only argument (which is legit), so as to not denying Shaman and Occultist own forte in pet build.

I’ll spill the bean.

All of the new released mastery were meant for a wider variant build, made acessible following their featured skill tree. Shaman, Inquisitor included, back when they were released since 4 initial vanilla mastery.

I see no point in discussing their factual forte, unless there is a biased game-breaking meta you’d like to prove in a competitive content - Gladiator wave 150+.

*see? personal skill beyond our usual comprehension.

Else, it’s just another sunny day where everyone (every build) take a sip at their own brewed treats.

Cheers.

Time Dilation, an underrated boon:p
Thank godSadly, many has not ultilise it yet. In fact, the whole devo point in Time Dilation was a Crate’s blessed.

Thanks, I hope RNG will be kind to me.
