duel wielding 2 pistols would that trigger cadence every 3 attacks, or would the cadence stack up per weapon?

Is it, (hand#)
(h1)pew (h2)pew (h1)pew+cadence (h2)pew (h3)pew (h2)pew+cadence

Or is it,
(h1)pew (h2)pew (h1)pew (h2)pew (h1)pew+cadence (h3)pew+cadence

… pew being the weapon firing …

The pistols alternate, so it would be
(h1)pew (h2)pew (h1)pew+cadence (h2)pew (h3)pew (h2)pew+cadence.
