Here is the draft
Haven’t touched the devotions yet (they are from a different build). Not sure which road to go there. Weapon slot has few options too, as well as rings slots, relic slot and boots slot.
Any suggestions?

why use star pact in a build that basically does nothing but aether and fire damage? reckless power would seem like the obvious choice (also comes with cast speed. pretty sure tempest uses cast speed, not attack speed).
By the time you get to Ultimate, another 150% or so in your damage types isn’t adding pretty negligible amounts when you have up to 2000% or so damage. The main focus for picking exclusive skills are the other bonuses, in particular, Star Pact has % cooldown reduction. This is great as it means Sorcerers get to use their defensive abilities and devotion procs more often like Giant’s Blood, Mirror of Ereoctes or Blast Shield - even a few extra seconds could be a lifesaver. It also allows Devastation to be cast sooner, overall % cooldown reduction is valuable, it’s worth considering on builds that aren’t even going Cold/Lightning/Frostburn.
Reckless Power isn’t entirely useless though. As you say, it increases % casting speed but more importantly - it has flat Aether damage that is used through Callidor’s % weapon damage and it has Burn duration which is nice for Burn builds utilizing Inferno.
Evil_Baka below you pretty much summed it up. But I am open to any suggestions. Additional 13% cdr can be a game changer. As for casting speed, I can max it without Reckless power. So it ends more damage versus more cdr. And I honestly don’t know which way to go.
I am especially confused with main-hand choice, all options look good, even Mythical Herarld of the Blazing Ends - for buffing transmuted bwc.
Depends on what damage you’re focusing on - Aether, Fire, Burn, Lightning, hell, with some new additions to gear, Sorcerer is probably even a candidate for Chaos/Fire
hp is on the lower side, but apart from that looks decent on paper
I’m using a Callidors tempest build since a long time. And What I learned is that the build can beat the game but that’s all. It is good to clear big waves of small mobs but as soon as you fight big bosses the build start to have an hard time. This build is very underpowered and there’s no way in the game to make it good. The damage of the tempest should be boost by a good flat 30% and it should give you a 50% bonus armor for 1 seconde or something like that. The developers seem to not realised that it is a melee build and they give you no tools to resist. Meanwhile there’s pets master build that just sit down and wait for their pets to kill boses 3 times faster than the Callidors tempest build. What a shame.
Pre expansion and mainly pre 1.0.0.7, i have played A LOT with CT. It could beat Crucible at the time and im sure it can beat Gladiator now too.
In general i tend to favor on converting damage and focus on one archetype. Aether is the easiest one to do so and with the release of Necro i think Spellbinder is better to stack higher flat OA and tankiness, sustain, leech etc.

http://www.grimtools.com/calc/YVWP5d0Z I’d go for something like this actually, OA isn’t as high but i could have pump it to 3k if its allowed to use 1-2 rares to cap resistances.
But overall tankiness, survivability and leeching is super solid as Spellbinder.
Even with all new mythical items that buff that skill so much??
