Can I get some feedback on my Dark One RE Cabalist :^)

I finally finished farming the set and made some careful resist adjustments with augments, I’m wondering how I can improve now. I plan to farm the last two pieces of Krieg’s set, then maybe roll a battlemage or something and try to get the Lokarr set. But Cadence feels really junk so I’d still rather use this guy to farm campaign/roguelikes and want to improve it as best as I can so skill tree/devotion changes or gear to look out for would be appreciated! Or just links to Dark One builds that work really well that I can work towards since this is pretty bottom of the barrel stuff

Don´t know if this build is still okay: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/Q2zKWL9V

(Credits go to Superfluff, Ceno…sorry, I forgot…:o)

Here’s mine for reference http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79786 (check the updated paragraphs in green, the original version was done wrong).

So, feedback:

  1. Don’t hold back on Foul Eruption.

  2. Take Dying God - this is the one devotion that’s set in stone for vitality.

  3. Take Bloody Pox and max Wasting. Best oa shred in the game.

  4. Doom Bolt without specific support (Harbinger and such) is imo waste of points and energy.

  5. Get rid of Ill Omen and don’t take it even if they pay you. It only makes mobs move away from your REs. I made a similar mistake with the toon in my link: I put one point in Black Death which confuses enemies, never fixed it.

  6. Get more points in CoF for quality of life. The less you have to cast it the more you can cast RE/kite/cast other stuff.

Hope this helps.

This makes sense for Crucible but for farming campaign/roguelikes it might make more sense to ditch FE (except 1 point) and put the points elsewhere, while ditching Aeon for Manticore.

True. Some ppl ditch it even for crucible as it’s random and maybe not too dependable. I like it, though. I’ve seen nemeses dropped in an instant by it many times.
