I always lose the location of my mouse cursor in the shattered realm. I have this other game I play called Grim Dawn. It is a vampire survivors like and they allow you to change the background color of the mouse and also its size. You can adjust the color on that white part behind the cursor. I always know where my cursor i at all times in that game and it gets way more hectic than anything in Grim Dawn.
