Currently playing melee with a controller feels abysmal due to the fact that you have to manually move to each target, instead of just being able to command an attack and your character moves to attack. The option is already there, but it only works for KB+M. Right now it’s about equivalent to having to move your characters via WASD instead of clicking.
I’ll definitely second this request. Melee on a controller feels miserable right now without classic casting functionality. You have to either whiff a lot with melee abilities or micromanage your movement just to get into position to swing, neither of which are at all fun. I play exclusively with an Xbox 360 controller and I avoid melee builds/skills entirely right now because it’s just too annoying to play them.
I know that Zantai has said the lack of classing casting on controllers is working as intended (I don’t have enough posts to drop a legit link here, but you can find the thread easily by Googling “grim dawn move on attack bug”), but I hope Crate reconsiders.
