Can you build viable class w/o soldier/nightblade?

Literally every build I see in here has either soldier or nightblade- with blademaster being the run away favorite.

Is it even possible to make a late game build pwnage without either of them? I have a druid and warlock but they seem like hard mode compared to warder and witchblade.

Pyromancer is pretty damn strong with the right build. Elementalist is fantastic as well, especially if you do something really crazy like Quick Jacks with the Light’s Defender set.

There’s a Sorcerer build out here that can solo Gladiator Crucible.

And in theory, almost any class combos can be viable. But can they all be optimized? …well, just look at Battlemage.

Nah, Conjurers suck. They can’t even beat Normal. You’d never see them solo glad or anything.

Is BM still as strong as the times when DMset had no cd?

No, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t viable or strong in its own right.

Any Demolitionist and Shaman hybrid i have played is strong in its own right.

My DW Conjurer (shaman/occultist) can beat almost all the nemesis (excluding the Iron Maiden), rashalga and shar’zul. I have a DW Chaos Pyromancer who seems pretty strong but i am kinda too lazy to get him beyond arkovian undercity in ultimate. I tried a Fire Strike Sorcerer and it seems decent enough.

Soldier and Nightblade are strong, not going to argue there. Blademaster is perhaps the strongest combination in the game from what i’m told atleast (better than the Witchblade even) but there are other combinations that are viable as well. They’re just not very popular.

Conjurer is fun… maybe not the most OP… but fun

My vitality conjurer is definitely viable in ultimate.
