There’s nothing after click creat character
Anybody help me this problem??
Do you get this?
Yes, same as your pic
Try exiting Microsoft OneDrive down in your system taskbar and then restart the game and try again.
That MS OneDrive is one big trouble eh?
Anyway, if what powbam said has nothing to do with the issue, try just… waiting for a minute after clicking “Create”? Sometimes it can take a while for the game to response after character creation, although that’s more likely to happen when you have a lot of characters already. I guess it also depends on your drive’s overall performance and/or condition.
I have one more problem: I can’t find my file save location
Local saves are located at “C:\Users\your_user_name\Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn”
Were you able to create a character at all?
I found it in One Drive folder
But i still can’t creat a new character and old character isn’t in game
Have you disabled OneDrive as powbam said? If you did, just move/copy the contents to the original save folder.
Yeah, OneDrive is known to hi-jack your saves for some strange reason. Back those folders up onto an external drive of some kind, delete/disable OneDrive and then put the folders in the path XanderRoot posted.
And make sure cloud saving is turned off in both the Steam settings and the ingame Options menu to keep your saves local and not cloud based.
Maybe restart Steam. Or check if OneDrive is not running again. Otherwise, please double-check this:
There is a synchronization problem with Cloud Saving. If your newly created character does not appear, go to Options → Gameplay and Toggle (on, off, on) Cloud Saving. Click OK when the dialogue appears and return to the main menu. Your character should be there waiting for you. Or turn off cloud saves, both in-game and in Steam. Cheers.
I have new problem. I can’t change setting in game.
I try to set keybinding but everything don’t work
Often this seems to be caused by windows defender and/or your anti-virus “protecting” the folder where settings are saved
I turned off WD defender and norton
