Can't decide what to play

So far, I have played a Occultist/Shaman up to 30 and get dropped like a wet nap since the pets don’t taunt worth a hoot.
I played a Blademaster to level 25 and he is ok but weak.
Warder is weak since you cant really make them Paladin.
Played a Battlemage to 25. Not bad but always out of energy/Mana.
So, maybe I need some insight on some class that I may want to play and can’t see past the newbie levels or find the correct build.

What I want to do may or may not be achievable. I want to be able to survive and hit stuff hard and fast. ( so far that’s like a 4 class combo I think)
Anyways, I want to be able to play a fun class but not get frustrated because I have to fetch my corpse for 20 minutes every time a boss sneezes.

I like spell casting and sword swinging but just cant find a good build that I dont have to work so hard at even though i am still lowly level.

Ok. Hope to hear back from you all or a few.

Add me in Steam friends if you want a group mate that’s from a older age of gamers.

hey dude, i think you should try out a Saboteur (Nightblade/Demolitionist) after a few characters failing miserably at the end of elite and in early ultimate i sort of worked out that it was easy peasy at low levels to dual wield pistols and just fire strike everything into dust. That then evolved into becoming a melee dual wielding monster. Whilst searching for devotion solutions for tankiness i ran into this post with a guide for dual wield saboteur. now this dude maximized the effectiveness of this class for end game farming, but the rest of the game it require no special gear or anything really:

Have a read of this and you should have no problems.

I’ll read into it. Some abbreviations I don;t know yet and some of the builds show the Devotion setup in letters with numbers.

I also started looking at the “Blademaster”. That looks nice.

the blademaster is an excellent combo , for dual wielding especially.

Hi Jagze,

I am kinda in a similar boat…

Add me on steam if you would like to team up and play together - could combo Tank and Damage or something similar.

Couldn’t find you on steam myself, name didn’t come up for some reason.

My username on steam is ZaaraSalaris

Do a search for Ultimate Vitality Caster. (Id be helpful and link it, but i can’t since i haven’t posted enough :p)

I have a level 43 conjurer that is doing quite well with this build.

The sustain is awesome

OH. I went wendigo totem(max) first, then storm totem (max) with corruped storm next, followed by sigil of corruption, also max, afterwards.
I also put just 1 point into frailty/vulnerability and 1 into grasping vines for now. but will work on frailty soon. On a side note, I put just 1 point into Summon Briarthorn has helped me at times while leveling. The life leech from wendigo keeps it mostly healed.

Very beginner friendly build overall IMO.
