Can't play on Xbox one?

I just started playing on Xbox one, love the game. But the more I play, the less I am able to play. Crashing and frame rate drops are making it impossible. Is this just the way it is, or a changes in the works?

Have you tried clearing your console’s cache? That should help performance a lot, I know it did for other games on the 360 so it should help on the One too.

Frequenct xbox crashes

I have an update: It may not be the game at all! I ended up creating a new character and within the 1st 10 minutes there were crashes. So I did more troubleshooting and deep diving on the internet and I believe the issue is the Xbox console itself. Specifically for those in the preview alpha/skip ahead program.
