Do you think Tome of the Arcane Wastes need / could use some cast speed on it?
was playing in Grimtools around it and took a devotion map from one of PRM elemental builds
It’s really hard to hardcap cast speed here, maybe both mythical and non-mythical versions could get 5 to 10% casting speed?
I find it’s very common attribute on off-hands in general.
or is the item fine as is?

Sort of true, though if you took Jackal and Magi or more MI’s etc you could get it to 200%, but that’s ultimately down to really good cast speed rolls anyhow.
Far more freedom of course though in putting say about 10-15% cast speed on the offhand, which is why I support this suggestion.

Thanks. If you take Jackal or Magi, you don’t have points both for Blind Sage and Attak Seru.
original devotion map looks like this (sorry i don’t remember the author of the build):
Mage Hunter, elemental PRM
but this setup relies on adcth on PRM so it may skip Chariot and go all out for offense and take Oklaine’s Lantern, while this setup has no means of sustain except Word of Renewal so i think Chariot is required here.
crafting “tempest … of celerity” is already a challenge though
It is also possible to take two Seals of Skies (for 4% cast speed and % cold/lightning damage), though you lose by not taking Silvercore bolts and Seal of Resonance.
Another option would be to add adtch to Obliteration (and we already have a precedent where Seal of Blight has it), but i think it’s too much for everything to have built-in adtch.

Definitely would be welcome for a skill that really needs that Casting Speed! Giving the Tomes +10% sounds good to me.
