you have tomb of barthollem (long) and fort haron(short) - ignore blood grove
Not sure what you mean by quests, (quests aren’t random either), if you don’t have a warrant you get 300 for a boss and 150 for a hero, and if you’re getting a thousand per run that’s then the dozen without warrant, vs half dozen with warrant. At like 2mins a run or less you’re looking at 30mins or less to ge be done then
Yes, I’ve noticed that too. There are fewer enemies and farming spots for some factions. It would be nice to make them slightly more common. I have a suggestion, maybe it would be better to decrease rep with the Order of DV if you also farm undead. Same for other factions, couple them with a more common enemy. Kymon’s chosen with Korvaak’s minions. Barrowholm with the Ugdenbog creatures. Cronley’s gang maybe with aetherials?
Do you know if for Barrowholm you have any areas to farm and decrease your rep with them, except the village and their dungeon? Because I never reached nemesis state with them so far on any of my two builds that are hostile to them.
cellar only for Nem, but it’s also pretty fast
I for one don’t remember ever reaching nemesis state with Death’s vigil, Kymon’s chosen or Barrowholm. I think not even with Cronley’s gang, because I somehow don’t usually focus on farming these areas. The rest of the nemeses come naturally, due to the large density of faction enemies.
yep, these have to be deliberately farmed as mentioned
Not exactly “exciting” but also not hard, just regular in/out reset rinse repeating for a bit.
I don’t mind farming the same area a thousand times, if the area is large enough. But from what I remember not all areas are. Maybe they’ll add some new (and larger) areas with the FoA expansion? One could hope. For example, one area could be “The underground retreat of Uroboruuk’s/Kymon’s chosen”, full of necromancers/zealots and consisting of 4 levels of long caverns. Same for Barrowholm, maybe a similar forest complex named “Ravager’s hunting grounds”.
Anyway I don’t think anyone will be too opposed to lowering the rare faction bar for targeted farming.
to 15,000 is just right.
The cellar is not large, but it has high density of monsters. If I recall it took me, like at most, an hour to get Nemesis with them. DV and KC are about the same, but the dungeon(s) takes somewhat longer to clear.
As it stands, Cronley’s is the only farm that people have a proper reason to complain about in my opinion. It doesn’t have the boosted rep gain like the others and there are fewer enemies to kill in a dungeon. You need to screw around with Bounties and Direni to get anywhere. Thankfully you only need to get it to Nemesis with one character.
But agree, it’s better to lower the threshold to Nemesis level so you don’t have to struggle with farming.
1-2 attempts are better than 3-5 + increase the reputation loss for quests
Out of all of these I only agree on Cronley. They’re a pain to “level” to Nemesis. Others are pretty chill.
Ran Barrowholm cellar 1 time on normal and two or three times on Ultimate, reached Nemesis.
Never cared about Nemesis status for Order / Kymon’s, but I think Barthollem’s Tomb is the place to go, will probably also take like 3-4 runs to Nemesis.
All that on first character, for all the next you just eat up the infamy document and do it extra fast.
The suggestion to lower the rep might actually be harmful to new players.
They meet Kuba on Elite while leveling and have their asses handed to them most of the time.
Imagine what “extra fast” achieved Iron Maiden would do them. Jeez.
I couldn’t agree more, I remember meeting Kuba for the first time on my reasonably geared character in ultimate, needless to say didn’t end well.
My question is why would you want nemesis earlier? No point in farming troves before approaching endgame.
The first time it takes more time for a few reasons :
1- You want to see and fight every nemesis with you first character, I did the same so I get it.
2- You don’t have any warrants when you start playing the game with your first character

3- You’re not as geared or don’t have any gear from other character when you make your first character
Later, once you’ve played the game a lot :
1- You’ll have warrants
2- You won’t fight every nemesis with every builds, just when needed or with the builds that you like the most playing
3- You will end up being geared so the proces will be even faster
I just did 2 runs with a geared character for Cronley, started the runs from Old Arkavia to the Cronley boss
- Without the Warrant I got about 750 infamy over the 20 000
- With the Warrant I got about 2600 infamy over the 20 000 (so from 0 infamy it’s basically about 8 runs)
Two factions don’t appear on maps like as common factions (Chthonians, Aetherials, Beasts) , and to reach Nemesis’ level, you need to farm separate locations. Therefore, getting a stronger mob through reputation is a personal choice, no matter how the difficulty level.
Therefore, I don’t believe that reducing reputation points to Nemesis level will harm players, especially if Nemesis level requires farming locations 2-3 times without Warrant.
That’s the problem; it will really irritate new players because these factions are “separate,” and to reach the maximum level, you have to waste time on this routine (which is not at all interesting in ARPGs).
If the Order of Death Vigil leveled up by killing undead (even Arkovians), there would be no issues.
But Cronleys are the main problem; they don’t combine with anything at all.
Therefore, it’s better to lower the maximum points for these “individual” factions to Nemesis level to avoid the grind.
Whether to farm or not is the player’s choice. Reducing points won’t affect the main storyline.
I calculated the reputation points.
It’s not a waste of time. It’s the bread and butter of ARPGS. Just like farming for gear is. You think farming rep is time consuming? Just wait till you want two of each of the Magi Rings or the legendary Alkamos rings. These games, if you wanna do everything, are a huge time investment.
Or you could GDStash it all instantly and actually ruin the experience (well besides build testing I suppose).
