Change to Divine Mandate

Currently there are exclusive skills that add flat damage for all damage types with the exception of fire. I think changing the Internal Trauma damage of Divine Mandate to Burning would be more fitting.

Physical: Oleron’s Rage (Internal Trauma), Divine Mandate (Internal Trauma) and Menhir’s Bulwark

Divine mandate crit damage and slow are very good and conversion of physical to fire is easy,but I understand your point.You don’t want fire to be discriminated:D.Btw isn’t Censure have flat fire,though.

It doesn’t apply to your weapon. It’s dealt to nearby enemies per second as is.

I actually like it. Warborn builds or Markovian builds can chooses to use Beronath sword for conversion. Some flat fire (not burn, please) would be nice, melee and ranged autoattacking fire builds usually lack flat damage quite a lot.

cool idea and i also wondered why its not flat burn or fire when i first jumped in oath.
it brings more variety and flexiblity for fire builds aswell. most of the time its so hard to convert most of the flat phys to fire anyway…

Flat burning could have been a demolitionist thing but instead they decided to make it a meme mastery. Divine mandate is our only hope now from this dark and burnfree world :cry:

Flat burning to devine mandate looks quite logical. I’d maybe even went with flat fire itself as RF kinda lacks flat fire bonuses. However burning would work better as counterpart to poison from Path of Three

Dont forget, that many fire builds convert physical into fire. So Internal Trauma from Divine Mandate will be converted into burn too.

I’d rather not be pigeonholed into using beronath for the 23423423 time.

And in general it’s fair for phys dmg as well.

Fire dmg has mods for it like for RF. There is also up to 60% Phys> fire on 2h weapons for example.

Maybe I wanna play a phys RF Sentinel with Bargoll Root. Just an example. I’d like to have the option, just as fire has the options.

And just to note that i’m a big fire RF fan and yet I disagree with this.
