Chaos Melee Firestrike Pyromancer

Hello Guys!

Again I played another new character. This time on hardcore and the results have been surprisingly good so far. When you see the grimtools, the build explains itself so I skip the functionalities.

As you can see in the title this is about melee pyromancers based on firestrike.
Please get yourself some ideas from this build or try it out yourself.
And also please give me suggestions on possible improvements. I feel there’s still much room for that.

I’m thinking about changing the shoulders and eventually the boots. But I’m open for any tipps.

Note that I play this character on hardcore, so there could be more damage potential for softcore. I appreciate every suggestion, no matter if it’s for soft- or hardcore.

So have fun with it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Cheers!

Try to respec skill points and change augment in weapon http://www.grimtools.com/calc/w26OW0VO
More damage with nearly same survivability.

nice one, i love those pyros

here is mine (with WB version), no major differences between our setups, but i still hope it can help you
youll sure notice my setup is way more offensive since its softcore char

overall i would suggest you to grab a masterspellblade

Improved as much as i could while being budget. Tiny bit less OA but improved everything, armor absorb, hp, attack speed and flat chaos and redistributed some points.

If you dont mind some OA loss i’d suggest taking 6 points out of Flame Touched and maxing hellfire mine.

That setup looks pretty non legit tbh, some items rolls seem too good to be true and ofc these rares are making all the difference in HP and stats.
Im sure if the OP had access to these items he’d have used them in the first place.

we already had that talk in the post i linked,
btw a good masterspellblade of fury is sure way easier to get than a bloodlordblade, also dont forget that abominablee might gives extra HP during its proc that can be very usefull for hardcore char; maybe “less dangerous” than hungering void that eat a bit of HP, but i have to admit that with such ACDTH it shouldnt be a problem, but since im completly paranoid when playing in HC …

also going two pieces of justice set may be an idea, would allow you to drop solemn watcher devotion, not sure if it worths it but thats acceptable idea imo

and i woud go for haunted steel instead of chaos strike, even more since its hardcore char, but its personal taste speaking here.

Nice setup, Pyroscar. It’s some damage loss compared with MI version, but very beginner friendly if we replace Bloodlord’s Blade with Blade of the Black Flame.

I am sorry if i missed it, lately im against theorycrafting with MI’s to not depend on super rare rolls to be able to cap resistances. Kinda gives you a nice challange and brainstorming to find your way through

sure cant be against that, aint easy deal either to look through all the greens and find the one you may have that maay help with the other ones … if you know what i mean

anyway builds with or withoutMI is same, but of differences on primary stats, and different components on amu/medal, usualy noscale hideon pants/shoulders,aint so important to me,but i say it again, the last time i promise:

its easier to get good masterspellblade than a good bloodlord !
