I’ve got a few characters, been playing my Shaman as of late but today it won’t load. I’ve noticed before that every once in a while (after an update?) one or more characters won’t show up, but closing and restarting (switch between x86 and x64 may or may not help I’m not sure) but they usually come back.
This time, I’ve tried several times and it just won’t come back. I can load the savegame in grimtools build calculator and I can load it in GD Stash. Tthing is, I haven’t tampered with this character, but the one I have still shows up. Ironic.
Anyway, any ideas to get my character back?

Check your cloud save settings in both Steam and the ingame options menu to make sure one or other hasn’t been switched on accidently.
Good point and thanks for the prompt reply, but unfortunately, cloud saves are still turned off.
Try verifying the game files.
Another good idea, but no go.
I removed the save files and moved them back one at a time. All work except my Shaman 
Could be a corrupted file then. 
Is there a way to recreate it and get it back to the point in the storyline?
I can create a new one edit it with gd stash, but it wont have the story line progression.
I have another one which is a bit higher level, can I copy it and respec it to the Shaman I had? At least it will have the storyline progression that way.
You could try I guess. Check with mamba in the GDStash thread the best way to do it because I don’t edit my characters so have no advice for you on that.
