My first post on this forum. I hope it’s the right place…
I installed Forgotten Gods and once started I can see my previous character. Nevertheless I can’t use it!.. it’s grey as if it was not compatible or something.
Any idea how I could solve this issue??

however… this is a hardcore toon? cause being greyed out means it’s dead…
Seems like you have a character on Hardcore mode that died. Therefore you can’t play it.
Sure would be nice if there was an indicator in the character listing or on screen that indicates a character is hardcore. It would be helpful for living characters.
Unless there is one and I’m just missing it?
there is, but it’s a bit more subtle than that
hardcore characters have a fiery glow around them
Ah, I was looking at my character screen via TeamViewer remotely, so something was probably lost in the graphics.
But I’m NOT dead, Id did not die in the previous Grim Dawn.
Any other idea??

The char having died is the most likely explanation.
You can check the death count in GD Stash and verify that it is indeed 0. If it is, then this is a bug. If it is not, then the char died and is greyed correctly.
