so i was wonder which character i should play? any suggestion? new to this game

Have you played ARPGs before? If so, what sort of characters do you like?

Go look in the Build Forum. A few suggestions:

  1. Jajaja’s “Beginner’s Physical Warder” build. A 2-handed weapon melee build. Reasonable gear is fairly easy to get.
  2. Jajaja’s Witchblade build. A 1-handed + shield build. The gear in the guide is almost impossible to get with this character since it is slow. But it plays very well with much lower quality gear.
  3. “Ultimate Vitality Caster”. Look in the “Conjurer” section of the stickied Build Compendium. If you prefer a caster build to melee. Has a lot of healing. It’s very fast and safe in the early games. It is somewhat slow in the the later parts of the game, though not terrible.

Stay away from dual-wield as a first character. Very hard to play until you learn the mechanics of the game.

i have arpg games before like d3 and poe… i like mostly like to tank/dps…so i will check the beginner build :smiley:

That’s a decent place to start then. Wendigo Totem is your healing skill. You will want to max it very early. Very tanky with it and not tanky at all without.
