Chose the wrong faction, screwed?

Hey.

I wasnt paying attention and chose the wrong faction, is it possible to revert it?

You can change it in the next difficulty, unless you are in ultimate.

How are you screwed? Do you need a spesific augment or faction item?

You cannot revert now but people usually choose one faction in elite and choose a different one in ultimate so you can have access to all augments.

Oh, so whenever you play on Elite, you have one faction, and whenever you play in Ultimate you have a different faction? If you want? Well then, I guess it doesnt matter too much. The guide im following told me to choose a certain faction but didnt say why and I chose wrong, but im only on normal.

There is also the possibility to use tools such as GrimStash to edit the choice. (if for some reason the in-game way wouldn’t suffice) Just FYI OP =)

Just the last choice (ultimate) is not reversibile : if you pick a faction in normal you can change in elite, if you pick a faction in elite you can change it in ultimate but this one (the last) will be forever.

Is that even true , from what I’ve read if I choose one in normal , switch in elite , if I go back to normal it is now the faction I changed to in elite .

You are saying I can have one in normal and a different one in elite and can swap between the two by going backwards and forwards in elite and normal , if this is true , why do people say stock up on a lot of augments before changing ?
That would be so much better but I’ve never read anywhere that that is the case :confused:
