I really wanted to use 2x Pistols and use Conduit’s Vitality Rune mod to make Acid/Vitality Rune (makes sense to me since we have RR for both damage types) but at the end of the day I suck at using Runes so I didn’t go with the idea 
Not surprised it works considered how good Shotgun and DoTs are in general
But wouldn’t lack of CDR affect your ability to use the runes effectively? Unless of course you went with Necklace + Pistol for Elemental to Acid conversion in which case you get some CDR
Would be interesting to see how Acid Rune fares against Acid DB.
With all these different damage type runes I wonder if there is some kind of mod that changes the color scheme of skills with conversion. Like what cube does to FoI but does it to all skills in general.
That’s what I have wished for since a long time ago.
But then if you can render poison blast of abomination into cold blast , next thing would be hard to tell a difference from flash freeze.
First of all, sorry to ask what’s DB?
No denies that conversion is of wide use. Pretty much you can turn RoH into any type of damage …It might be the funniest skill of all skills of the two new masteries.
Well, true but I don’t see myself using both in one build 
not until flash freeze is changed, if that’ll happen.
DB = Doom Bolt. And I think RoH is the best Inquisitor skill. Very flexible while being powerful.
4500DA is garentee survival against any BS crucible can throw you i suppose.
Saw a 3600DA build died today against 2xReaper of lost souls + fabius that was literally chasing him across the map :rolleyes:
In any case this is a truelly fantastic thread showcasing items we havent even thought of using and mechanics yet to be explored by the current community. It amazes me that we can still discover and improve our current builds. Crate definitely has made a marvelous game.

Never thought Bleed trickster could work in crucible. Always thought it lacked in both damage and defense when compared to soldier-based bleeders. Glad to see it works.

Super high armor. Die against Anasteria cause you don’t have aether overcap :p. Now I wonder, will there be any new method in beating crucible that is still undiscovered? Maybe them Koreans have something in store for us. I heard they’re gods in gaming.

IMO. I think there should be several effecitive methods other than stacking DA.
1 DA mostly used in builds with solider/shaman/ inquisitor.
2 Health regen. mostly used in Rune builds
3 Damage absrp. + sheild absrp. mostly used by battlemage.
4 damage absrp. + CD reduction. mostly used when an Arcanist is included.
