even better idea: simply moved the autocasted skill from autocast to the torso gearitem of the lootset to NOT loose the effect, simply swapped autocast @ 100% to autocast @35% therefor ;D
Have only tested with Strafe, as i was planning my build around it. Have not observed any other issues with atkspd/total speed while leveling. Seems to work correctly for skills like Multishot.

I managed to provoke crashes also with the “Shadow’s Mantle” set now too. Can’t really reproduce it consistently though. I was wearing 0 pieces of the Gears of Dreadlands when it happened, and it happened a couple of times when opening the inventory. ![]()

EDIT: Did more testing. It has to do somehow with gaining/losing the 4p set bonus from Gears of the Dreadlands. It was me unequipping and reequipping that caused the crash.
Can consistently cause crash if i’m wearing 1 piece of Gears, 3 piece of Shadow’s Mantle.
- Open inventory, and swap the 3 piece of Shadows to Mantle pieces → Wearing 4p Gears
- Swap them all back → 1p Gears, 3p shadows

nothing has changed except that you get 2 epic gearitems as a NEW CHARACTER, you need to quicklevel this char to test what i am aiming to, to wear those epics (lvl 25), on which i have added a simple AUTOCAST skill. if you wear them and go to any vendor and compare those items with vendoritems and put your weapon or one of those epics into inventory, it will simply crash, the autocasted skills are not even shown on the epic gearitems btw :DD easily to reproduce this. would be cool to get some confirmations to finally get rid of this issue, which is bugging me for years and it always happens with autocasts on gearitems xD

progress is going good, already did a balance turn with lvl 100, need another one with low level and maybe also one with mid-level (will abuse your char for this maybe xD), also will note down a “bit”, because i am afraid to loose needed details when doing this lateron
but think it will work that fast that i can load it up latest tomorrow in the afternoon when everything is fine, also will add the D3 hotfix after noting down then.

- NEW + CHANGE + FIX: all Hero Archetypes got a big overhaul → added the 3 “missing” Archetypes to also have an addonspawnmechanic now → Diseased, Reflective and Supporter. All Archetype “spawn-monsters” and additional spawns are now in the Omega Evil Faction and will NOT give any experience points or faction experience, which has the effect that all archetype skills now only are evil to the player and never to any enemy around! → also done this for all Lost Treasure enemies! The according section in the PDF has been cleaned up and will give all the informations about the Archetypes you need for now.

- FIX: D3 itemset → Gears of Dreadlands → to avoid a crash with this set and his added autocast while trying to compare it with other items in inventory or at any vendor, i simply moved the autocasted skill from the setbonus to the geartorso and changed it to an itemskill with an adjusted controller (now: 35% chance on attack, but applied to all attacks this way) → thanks to gooseduck for the information and for letting me abuse his char to test it
- CHANGE: D3 Classes Mod → added the “Winterfix”;
- UNSOLVED: small issue while leveling from start with a new character and on a rush → Barrog seems to be very weak (sometimes=?) when you are on a very low level and encounter him

EDIT1: IF it crashes again on your Demonhunter, try to deskill Vengeance and Elemental Strike as these both skills have also autocastskills added and “maybe” this could lead to issues if you have gearitems equiped that augment these skills, somehow… have searched a bit more on this and it is fact that there is NO autocastskill used by anything in the basegame EXCEPT for nonplayercharacter skills AND a single time for the Shaman Totem Healautocast, which should never been compared at anytime and is even a pet so also no playerchar
just a “maybe” here at least to rule it out IF it crashes again at that point.

I build an SC character for run SR. after Hero Archetypes adjustment, now SR chunk 1~2 levels hard than boss room. hero monsters lots of control and hp, I think is fine.
