Plenty. Have a look in the latest compendium. Probably Warder or Death Knight if you have the Ashes of Malmouth expansion as well would be ones to look at.
The helm and shields exists in higher tiers, the helm drops from milton and the shield from warden. If you wanna get even lower cooldown on blitz, get “chromomancer” prefix on it (or get that prefix on another shield, like Colossal bulwark that always have some cdr and also skill recharge to overguard, plus you can shop those from Hyram in steelclap)
If you want something to help you refresh your memory there’s also a beginner Death Knight build in the compendium by Stupid Dragon. That may give you some pointers if nothing else.
That’s solid build imo, but you really need that kriegs set and especially those weapons. Doubt it will be that good without. But blitz is not actually doing amazing damage in this build even though it’s maxed, cadence is the dps.
And in secondary build you basically sacrifice blitz for more dps, haven’t tried it personally though.
I think most people only use Blitz for Blindside (DA shred of monsters > makes your own OA more efficient). I took the Maul proc from Dire Bear and bound it to Blitz, that was actually pretty good.
and the look… you can use transmogs to get a build look almost however you want
Besides the movement runes introduced in Forgotten Gods that medea mentioned, you might also be intrigued by Vire’s Might for the Oathkeeper which is also part of the upcoming expansion.
This is where s&b will truly spread its wings. If mobility and charging is your thing for now I’d forego the shield aspect and make a 2h firewave commando http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79129 or a DW Belgothian blademaster https://www.grimtools.com/calc/qNYK9GlV (similar to the famous build by Superfluff) as they both have a double charging capacity.
So I’ve just hit level 30 following Stupid Dragon’s guide and oh boy I’m having fun. After playing the last league in PoE, it’s so refreshing to actually find gear that improves my build, rather than picking up pointless trash loot just to turn it into mats.
Good to hear, though I expect you’ll find a fair amount of “trash” that doesn’t work with your current character. But then that’s what the transfer stash is for, keeping items ready for the next one you decide to play.
Oh yeah, and I love stockpiling mats and currency in games, the difference here is that you actually drop items that you use, other the faction ones and crafted ones. But the loot in this game is great.
You need two chillflame evoker’s (Mythical version gives alot more % damage but regular versions work just fine), mythical mark dark dreams and mage slayer set to get the most out of the build.
Tho it is a dualwield build but it plays very similar to shield charge righteous fire thanks to Aura of censure and veil of shadows.
