Yeah, sometimes you need a bit of thick skin for this forum. There are a few that obviously love the game but rarely have a constructive tone to the negative reply.
But there are also quite a few helpful sorts out there.
I’m just saying that everyone is entitled to an opinion and in particular for suggestions. If you are not a fan of a suggestion, a constructive and personal argument is not the same as a flinch condemnation.
Just noticed a bit of this in the last week. Feel free to vent here.

I don’t think a “vent” thread about community interaction is quite appropriate…

This thread was originally written years ago, but it seems the community needs a reminder…
This has always been a problem, but as the game continues to grow and more players discover it, it has become a consistent problem. New user makes a thread that disagrees with the status quo, whether that is about gameplay or visuals or features, and the regulars swarm to the rescue and basically beat down the new guy into submission or just leaving.
I consider this behavior to be reprehensible. I would like to point out some simple facts for everyone:
1. We don’t need defending.
2. Not everyone is going to agree with you (or us) about the visual direction, the gameplay, the features, the animations.
3. Just because somebody posts on the internet does not mean that you have to reply to it.
That is all. You may return to your seats.
