I want to know before buying if Grim Dawn can run on Windows 11 with DirectX 12 ?
I’d like to counter your question with a question of my own… what modern game do you know of - that works on Win10- but won’t run on 11?
Perhaps you can see where I’m going with this and the general absurdity of such a question.
Note: and NO - GD does not use DX12. Games use the DX versions they were made with/intended to use. It doesn’t matter whether you are in 10 or 11.

My dream is that one day people will realize that 11 is merely a sleeker looking 10. Under the hood they are largely the same.

does that mean games with minimal system requirements of windows 11 can be played on win10?
My desktop is Windows 10, which could run the game while my laptop is Windows 11, always return with ‘Fatal error cannot initialize graphic engine’. So I guess it is because of other issues …
Yes. I have Windows 11 and it works just fine. As do the Mods whenever I decide to play one of them.

You would guess correctly. A driver issue or something of the ilk is what it sounds like.
I’d guess this is caused by some things specific to your laptop. It works for me on Windows 11, both on desktop and laptop (I have the GoG version).
