Hello,
is it possible somewhere in the options to set that when I press the complete component button that components do not get moved between different stash tabs?
I have the habit from Titan Quest to have components in the secundary stash tabs so I can see in the main stash tab what I have found recently. This is not possible in Grim Dawn because if I press the complete component button, all the then completed components are put into the main stash tab and I would have to sort everything again. This is annoying.
I hope you get what I mean. It would completely suffice if this would be optional.
I get what you mean, but honestly it’s probably a fair amount of work for little return as far as the devs are concerned. Instead simply put all your components in your personal stash. Or better yet put them in the transfer stash and then they’re accessible to all your characters. You can choose which stash tab to use and the component complete button will work with that stash tab.
There might be a misunderstanding. I am not native English.
I mean the stash that my character carries around (Rucksack) which consists of the main stash that I have form the beginning and the secondary stash tabs that I get through quests. I did not speak of the chest.
But thank you for your quick reply.
Is is possible by now that I do not need to have ingrediants in my stash that I carry around to craft items at the blacksmith or similar? So that the system detects the contents of my chest stash?.
Yes, the game detects any components you have in the Shared stash in your chest. So for example, I have 1 Shared (the icon on the chest should be 2 ‘people’) stash tab that is full of components. Any time any character needs to complete a shrine or craft something at a forgemaster the game willl take anything it needs out of the stash (but it has to be Shared stash).
No, I knew you meant that. No you don’t need to have components and other crafting material in your inventory. The blacksmith will take these from either inventory or personal/transfer stash now depending on where you store them. So they can all go into your personal stash or the transfer stash and he can access them whenever you want to craft something. It was changed a while back as it was something the community asked for for a long time.
It could be we’ll be getting a dedicated components stash page in the new Forgotten Gods expansion. This from the stream of the 13th April:
“We’ll probably add another stash page.”
And this from last Friday’s stream:
"Zantai_GD :we’re not adding more components
Zantai_GD :there’s already so damn many that a dedicated stash bag became impossible without a scroll bar"
