Conjurer Build - need help

I just reached level 100 (Ultimate) with a Conjurer build and need help. I originally chose Conjurer for a pet build but got frustrated along the way at the lack of pet gear and decided to use Wind Devils and Totems as my pets since their strength was based on my gear. This drove me to a lightning/electrocute build since that’s the damage type of the WD/Totems.

I’m at Malmouth and just got to the Malmouth Crown Hill Rift. This build is so squishy that I shouldn’t have made it this far. Opening the front gate by defeating Bollag would have been impossible without exploiting terrain from afar and basically being a sniper. Same thing goes for Ekket’Zul in Void’s Edge. Just entering the second portal to Void’s Edge was a feat. Every mob (including 3 heroes) were right at the portal waiting forming a wall of death.

So, now that I’m at max level – how do I fix this?
I think I placed my attributes as follows:
Phys - 67 points
Cunn - 9 points
Spirit - 27 points
Unused - 2 points

I’m missing two skill points yet (Ultimate Hidden Path and Other You).

Devotion points are 55/55.

What are some endgame build options for Conjurer? How do I get this char viable again against bosses?

Changed from a Savagery to a Primal Strike build so swapped out weapons for a 2-handed. Also eliminated poison resistant augments because of Aspect of the Guardian. Eliminated 16 Skill points in Occultist base class since I wasn’t using the high-end skills and moved the points around. This gave me 1343 more health and some additional damage after changing some gear around. I also added a 2-handed melee weapon on weapon swap for those cases where I get enemies on top of me.

That build does not perform well anymore past wave 150 (although kills all campaign content except Ravager). I made some (well, a lot of) modifications to it, here is the build I made to solo Gladiator 150-170:

Does anybody have a great Conjurer build? I finished the Malmouth quests to achieve Savior of Malmouth but did not do well on the final phase of the Master of Flesh battle. I think there were several instances there where I was one-shot. And while clearing Malmouth ran into the Aetherial Vanguard Nemesis Archmage who completely destroyed me.

It’s missing one skill point because it requires killing Sentinel which I eventually gave up on.

The little tweaks I did got me through the quests except for the Hidden Path on Ultimate. I know some of the issue is just gearing. If I could raise my DA and armor rating and maintain resistances while still having gear that matched my damage type, I would.

I’m not really looking forward to leveling the constellations over again for a new build but can see how yours has some synergies and better survivability.

I haven’t done too much with it yet. My gear sucks since most of it’s green plus my constellation levels are no where near max level.

Finally finished the Hidden Path quest by killing Sentinel in Ultimate. The new build plus the gear changes in the past two weeks apparently made a LOT of difference. This fight was not nearly as difficult this time around. It took me one retry because I screwed up right at the end of the first try but got it done.

I see the original question was solved but I’m wondering about something.

Is a lightning/electrocute based Conjurer possible and viable, even if it’s inferior to vitality?

You can also try fire, it works pretty well.
