Is there any reason why its tied with AA replacer? Do we need to pick that AA onepointer every time, like we do with Shaman?
well, you don’t need to. You can if you want to. Personally i never have even under the most dire conditions. If I don’t need consecration it generally means my build can cheese things at mid range so you need less DA or armor and can stutter step. Seems like a pretty fair trade-off. Cases are very rare where you are melee and can’t get consecration naturally charged, that is, if you need it.
I understand your concern but it’s ok.
In even more rare cases, say where you play shaman and OK and can’t get either savagery or RF bonuses properly, end game items/sets tend to be balanced in a way to compensate for this - more OA/DA mybe some more phys res etc.
I see %armor, DA , IAS and ele resistance. So tempting for Spin to Win character. Why its tied to AA replacer? Any reason to make it that way instead of passive?
It’s a savagery type skill so something like that was bound to happen just like savagery and other things like belgo, runic bolts. Also if you put that on another skill usable by all builds it’ll be pretty bonkers.
Like i said, that spin to win sets/items may have some boosted stats on it;)
Also, there is a massive advantage to spinning and winning unlike melee or channeling spells. You are spinning and literally winning.
It’s a drive by kill that lifesteals as it moves around freely and procs shit like crazy. I’d say it would be unfair to allow it to have the same consistency in class stats as melee (who really, really needs anything it can get)
And again, as stated above, certain builds have end game gear stats boosted exactly because of this. What you are saying right now was brought into attention during testing precisely with EoR since we are on the topic of this skill:)
I know i`m gona use it on all builds with OK. Like i use Savagery on all builds with Shaman. OK+Shaman must be a real pain to deal with

Did you played Torchlight 2? Do you remember Barb 30 seconds buffs with 100% upkeep? Some ppl claimed that pressing 3 buttons once per 30 seconds was “skill”, but i always trough it was just a pain. In the end, i switched to mod that turn all these buffs intro permanet effects.

Well it’s kinda like the reduced damage debuff on soulfire passive of spin2win. Different skills come with different benefits and taking advantage of them all comes with an opportunity cost.
I am more annoyed by things like bwc and dee transmuter having phys damage debuff rather than the base skill line possessing it.
