Simple question. Does this:
work on Hellfire? Or does the conversion work only on the basic pet attacks?
I assume the Hellhound will do Lightning instead of Fire and Elemental instead of Chaos. Because even if Hellfire wasn’t converted, the conversion from items would eventually convert the damage for the Hellhound. But I’m mostly curious about the aura effect on other pets (Familiar in my case). Does the bird get Fire/Chaos bonus or Elemental/Lightning?

The Aura itself is not getting converted, but the flat damage from it, once it applies to pets, can get converted depending on what damage conversions you have.
The chaos > elemental on mindweaver is only for Hound.
The fire > lightning on mantle is for all pets.
If you want chaos > elemental for Birb, you want to get a Stormbringer of Malmouth
Ah, yes. I’ve made a mistake. Even if Hellfire is unconverted, the global conversion on Mogdrogen would convert it in the end anyway.
Thanks. I was suspecting that was the case, but thought to ask anyway. Wasn’t a 100% sure, as attacks like Ember Claw or Infernal Breath do get converted.
Hmm, missed that item when I was planning my Lightning Pet Warlock, but still feel like Gate to Many Worlds provides more overall benefit.
