Let’s say you are trying to convert AAR to lightning damage should you convert both aether and fire to lightning in order to change the beam’s visual color or just one damage type (aether or fire) ?
Skill FX changes are done on a case-by-case basis. Only specific transmuters or skill modifiers will do it. Global conversion does not do anything to the colour of skills.
There will be a specific item that converts AAR to mostly Lightning damage and changes the colour to more of a Lightning-esque blue that you need to look out for.
Let’s say you have an item that says it converts 100% of fire damage to lightning damage to AAR
Would this item change the color of AAR or you need another item along the first one which convert 100% of aether to lightning to AAR in order to change the color to blue?
Evil_Baka already said global conversion doesn’t affect the color of skills. Skill color changes are only found on items with skill mods that convert damage.
