I’m working on a really curious build using the Darkblaze set. It would really benefit from some CDR, but I can’t stack any because the set takes up all the slots that usually have CDR(helmet, amulet, weapons).
12.5% would be the perfect the amount for this particular character. You could add 4% to helmet, 4% to amulet, and 5% as a set bonus. Or just the full 13% as a full set bonus.
Balancing CDR is a pain in the butt, it doesn’t only reduce the skill cooldown but the item procs and constellations like Dying God or Abominable Might, extra CDR might actually make the set too strong, I’m not 100% sure tho, I never balanced anything.
I’m doing a chaos build with Dying God but without Abomination. I thought I would throw in Aeon for better uptime on Hungering Void. Having a little extra CDR would make it all work so nicely. But the Darkblaze set locks me out of cooldown gear.
Putting the CDR as a full set bonus would keep it from stacking with other sources of CDR. So that would be the least disruptive way to do this.
All due respect, set isn’t balanced around CDR skills it’s an AA build either way you slice it. So I doubt it’s gonna get CDR, but never hurts to ask.i suppose.
