I may be dreaming but I really think I once saw a blacksmith that could craft AoM materials like Aetherial mutagen from the base game ones (brain matter…) at an exchange ratio of 6:1, but I can’t find any trace of him…

Ah. Don’t bother with bounties except for the Rovers if I need them to get the Mogdrogen quest.

No, nothing to do with that quest. Hidden Path was in the game before AoM came out. Mogdrogen is a separate quest not related to Hidden Path either.

True, what is the name of the AoM secret quest? there is one part where you must bring one particular monster in Malmouth outskirts to a specific location
