Creating my own map textures?

Greetings all,

I browsed around the forums but I wasn’t finding the exact answer to possibly an easy system to solve my issue.

I’ve been working on my new world for awhile, but now there are some textures I’d like to make on my own for my world flooring. Could someone explain how to bring in my own texture file for use in the world editor? I tried so far saving my texture from the program GIMP as a .psd. I then added it to my mod’s Texture file in Asset Manager, auto-created asset to a texture, but I have no idea where I go from here or if I’m on the right track.

Maybe u should create a new dbr for ur own texture. Copy the existing pattern dbr at resource/terrain_texture. From there i can u can figure it out but if u not, drop a line. I might take a look at this later. Typing from my work now.
