I’m going to dispute this one slightly. It’s a double edged sword when it comes to reflect. Having 600% increased duration can be quite counter productive, as you effectively disable your Constitution health regen for the entirety of the duration.
Absolute minimum should be enough duration to last comfortably until your next apllication. Though it’s true, that extra will allow your crit DOTs to last longer.
you can 100% mitigate reflect, and it’s generally not an issue for non trauma/never seen it be an issue for poison/elemental dots,
bleed could sorta but seems like it’s decently mitigated even if not reaching 100% reduct resist like Goredrinker and with only partial reflect resist/if deciding to not get 100% reflect on bleeds(titan platings etc)
I have, IIRC, 68 Reflect Resist on my Bleed Blademaster with Bloodrager set and have to be very aware not to Blade Arc a reflector. In case of a crit, it’s guaranteed Escape and leave game.
If I stack all my other Bleed sources, sans Blade Arc, I can live through it with with Pneumatic Burst/healing pot/Bloodrager regen combo. But still, a Blade Spirit touching a Reflect hero disabling your Constitution regen for 15-20 seconds can be annoying. Especially if there are no enemies to hit and you are getting DoTed.
I find the 68 Reflect res sufficient. Having to only watch Blade Arc usage is manageable.
sure,
but what i’m saying is that you don’t have to skimp on duration increase for your build because of reflect, you can just mitigate it if you wish,
allowing you to stack 800% duration increase totally safe without sacrificing dmg for maintaining constitution regen/constitution “should” have no bearing on that decision/doesnt’ have to have any bearing; unless specifically attracted to constitution regen, for some reason, while at the same time refusing the available tools.
The choice to clash duration/constitution is not forced/natively included
At the cost having to force in another Titan Plating of course. Don’t think I can really afford that. And as said, overkill duration only serves the purposes of snapping a crit DoT on an enemy for longer.
But this character has probably the highest OA I’ve ever had, so it’s not really an issue.
sure, or depends on build what other options you have available, devos, items, class buff
the point just is the tools are there, so it becomes a choice, and then deliberate what’s decided to traded off/for, not that constitution regen necessitates it/constitution is not default linked like that on dot builds
(if we wanted to argue it further one could say caring about constitution regen could be a minority/outlier concern by itself too, - for endgame/ignoring levelling)
Not exactly sure what you mean here, but to be sure using Goredrinker does not result in 100% resist (I think it’s duration) reduction. It’s capped at 80% afaik.
