Current top tier builds??

I know there is a compendium where all players can check the guides of how to make your char with a very nice idea of him… but

I remember before the expansion set, coldbreaker was the top dps hero and probably the witchblade of poison or some others the best for solo crucible.

On the current version of the game, wich are on your opinion the top tier builds? i’m asking in 3 categories:

1)speed farm
2)boss farm
3)crucible farm

1. No need huge single target damage or high thoughness against bosses
2. No need fast group clear speed, just elites and boss fast kills (bonus if can dps the ravager or mogdrogen)
3. Can be a solo fast build or group carry build

If you have more than one is ok.

crucible builds are the most powerfull i guesse.

4. spellbinders

Belgothian set is only best with infiltrator and blademaster afaik.
Another good set is warborn for Witchblade & blademaster.

I’ll really love you guys if you put the builds in categories, so we can maybe make a meta-compendium of top build every patch.

1. Meta-compendium requires a qualified judge. Who will decide whether “this partial build” is meta or not? Besides that, Crate most probably want to balance the game and remove any metas, but keep good builds good.
2. Every build in compendium marked as “c+” can be called top-tier because “c+” means very good clear speed and power. It is possible to add an additional grade for builds that perform under 8 minutes, but it is probably bad idea.

After read this i check all the c+ builds in compendium, and i think you can add an additional grade of boss killer (mad queen, nemesis, gods) to know if the buid can tank and kill the most hard monsters in the game.

Is really good to know about the level performance of all the compendium builds, i just wanna know about that extra information.

C and C+ builds can facetank or easily kill 5 nemeses at the time, it always happens on waves 160 and 170 Mad Queen is not even close to Grava’Thul, for example. You can be sure that C+ builds most probably will easily deal with most tough bosses in the game.

Edit: Ravager and Mogdrogen are different story. They are easily killed with dedicated builds, but you probably need only one helm from Ravager and one shoulder from Mogdrogen and there’s no reason to beat them 20 minutes each, time after time. Their loot is not even comparable to Crucible rewards.

+1 from me. Plenty of c+, g1 or 2 builds out there

• Spellbinder with MoE / MoT is best imho (Krieg’s set).
• TSS Druid really impressed me.
• Dual Gunslinger are in a good spot (Fire Purifier, Lightning Vindicator, Chaos Pyromancer).
• Boring but efficient Forcewave Soldiers.

Do not ignore none “c*” builds on the Compendium. Many good theorycrafters don’t play Crucible (Chthon for instance just to name one).

Anything in this compendium labeled “[updated for 1.0.6.0]” is good at this moment. Other builds pending.

what i read.

i highly reccomd you to stay away from builds in that thread:D that thread represent dark times of GD where everything was possible with 3.5k DA and some builds posted there with ridicly GDstash items, now most of the builds there are in grave… or requires other itemization and layer of defences to work…
i would rather kill myself if one of my build was posted there

but you can check every possible build there and get great ideas and see playstyle of builds and learn more mechanical things. you can always find good things even in trashcans, or learn more stuff and shape your own chars.

i recommend checking new build compendium by sir spank, also veretrange have really cool crucible guide…

I have already seen the “own gladiator guide” and its a good guide imo.

but by the way:
I dont ask for “current top tier builds”, I am not the op
I hit 100 for the first time since aom release with a 2handrifle firestrike purifier
last time I played the endgame I played with a dw saboteur and everywhere I read about how cold spellbreaker and pet builds are best singletarget and bwc and dee dot caster dominate crucible easy without gear.
