Nice to have although probably inconsequential unless game itself becomes more friendly to ranged builds. I wanted to touch upon the obvious, the elephant in the room:
Dagallon Lightning set of guns should convert Fire part of Fire Strike to Lightning otherwise it’s quite handicapped
Unfortunately, converting just two of your wps to Lightning while most of your AA damage is still Fire creates a weird sort of hybrid where you can’t fully utilize the power of Lightning Fire Strike. So while full Fire version of Dagallon is very much usable, full Lightning remains a meme.
how sad does it get with 3p Dags vs fyll, if you swap in the Exonerator you got lightning FS added to?
and how bad would 4p lightning be behind “custom” lightning(i’m assuming there is one/“usually custom better”) , or ditching dag chest for global conversion chest?
(i don’t know why but 4p bonus still gives me that sensation of being small?)
No idea, those are questions for “how to make Lightning Dagallon work with tools we have” kind of topic. This is a “Lightning Dagallon as a set is currently undercooked because of this one simple thing” kind of topic.
was trying to determine how undercooked it was with/if there was the usual “this one kills dummy in 8secs, 4p dags kills it in 18/dies to grava of old age” kinda build comparisons

You can make Lightning work as an awkward hybrid of sorts but then you can already make it work as a hybrid with original Dagallon. Just comes out worse than pure Fire.
