Damage increased too much for old bosses post expansion

I’m getting a Lvl 75 char with maxed resists and 10k HP oneshoted by high priest Zarthuzellan in the entrance of steps of Torment. Literally one stone of his 3 projectile spammeable attack deals 7-8k damage to my character, burn effect +6k, doom bolt +6k.

The damage tuning got out of hand. Anyone else noticed this?

Same with Ravna…

Yeah it appears, per a forum post here, that Crate is watching. In the mean time I would recommend finding a way to get as much da, armor, and armor absorb as possible while capping res when leveling. Use life/sec and high hp threshold circuit breakers too.

I found the low threshold (below 50%) ones to be very not helpful because they don’t do anything with how hard you are getting hit (or seems that way). Endgame is the same pretty much. If you eat a sunder and are not tanky, assume death…even the most beefed up non reta character I could make will get 1-2 shotted post sunder hit with full shrine.

This is not a calling for nerfs just fyi. I think my biggest grip this early into the dlc is the amount of life things have with a full shrine activated and me having to build a certain way because I am old and do not have the reflexes of a 30 years old. So I build tanky and things take forever to kill. I get hit by sunder/nulls quite a bit.

I’m honestly a little confused on how we’re expected to improve our character’s survivability to counter this enemy damage buff across the board. Like aside from spending 20 years farming RNG ascended bonuses on gear. I’m getting one shot by so many random vanilla bosses on characters which would be considered quite durable pre FoA

I’m almost sure they will have to address it. I’ve played aRPGs for a decade and I’m pretty familiar with what feels ‘off’, and this does.

Char I experienced this is Lvl 75 with 10k HP, 81% fire res, 80% Cold/Lightning and 17% physical plus several damage absorption buffs. Zarthuzellan should not give me a hard time, he never had in the 500 hours I have in this game. Unless they gave him secret Chaos/Aether scaling there should be no way he is doing what he is.

They will have to tune the scaling, probably some number was wrongly placed.

Yeah - I just had a white knuckle kite fest on Theodin in Normal on a build that usually has no issues with him whatsoever. Can’t imagine what Vet would have been like.

I have done two complete “SSF” normal runs on 1.3, Master of Flesh and Korvaak and Beronath was just stand still and tank no issue
