Dear Crate, about shattered realm...

the real decider is if you can manage to stack up shrine buffs before running into grava + iron maiden past sr 80 lol

Grava is the most OP boss in high SR (75+)… its not even close when compared to other bosses.

Ahh the Hardcore killer finally came to softcore and rekt havoc

Do you think a purifier ranged auto attack build can reach that dept or alternatively any other ranged auto attack build?

Or any auto-attack build in general…

I doubt it.

I don’t. But I think you need to stop building AoM style and go back to old vanilla style with capped stun res, 30+ overcapped elemental and aether, in addition to slow and 3k+ DA. Basicall a shitton of greens.

Do you get skillpoints from doing the SR quest on elite and normal?

Or a tactician  Secondary resistances - check. Flat absorbtion - check. Shield-check. Oupie end-game set - check.

I’m almost certain I got my first skill points by reaching Shard 5 in Normal.

And yet you are wrong.

No skill points in SR in normal & elite.

Yeah it was nice challenge, managed to complete shard 50 last night. I wonder if there’s any difference in loot quality/quantity, for example farming only 30-35 vs 45-50.
Too bad there’s no roguelike dungeon in Forgotten Gods.

What’s the scaling like from 15 to 25, do you get a fifth mutator? I cleared 15 with a rather unoptimized phys retaliator Warlord (finally a reason to use Stoneguard). It was basically a breeze except the lvl 15 bossfight Duskreaper+Bargoll (or whatever that green dude’s name is that spits poison) where I procced Menhir’s once since I f’d up. I’m playing hc too only.

Glad I put that “almost” in my sentence, then.

I was thinking exactly the same, unlike latter AoM patches when Crucible was toned down a bit and you can use buffs to compensate some weaknesses. Now with SR people have reasons to go again with Stonehide of kings and every other realistic or dreamy green MI items in order to reach deeper shards.

I’m sure we’ll get one. We have areas like the Map Room of Rahn and that locked green doorway in one of the later optional areas, along with whatever Crate throws at us in a patch.

Crate mentioned during FG announcement that there won’t be a new roguelike as realms kinda fulfill that purpose. But who knows, maybe they’ll change their mind.

So I had my first big hurdle on realms. Shard 52 4th chunk at that lava arena without any obstacles. Can’t remember mutators. Bosses were Kaisan, some brother that summons fissures whose name I forgot, the three malmouth stooges and maybe another one I didn’t see. From the start of the fight Ghoul already activated, like wtf. Managed to kill one of them but that combo was just too tanky. Three stooges reduce your damage by like 40%, and I think they heal each other. And Kaisan has 1000% lifesteal. I can’t even kite cauase the arena was smaller than cruci of the dead and there aren’t any obstacles. Damn.

Build: grimtools is down :stuck_out_tongue: Basically this but juggled skills a bit

If you think that, then they probably do.

Y’know, because SR needs to find a way to add insult to injury.

If you try to move further back away the moment you enter these 4th chunks, there’s a small chance you might only aggro 1 or 2. The problem is that you can’t kite too much, if not they all come prancing over to join the shit-on-your-day parade.

EDIT: GT is down

The small circular one that looks like Log’s boss arena? I find that one incredibly rage-inducing. It might be doable if you’re really tanky, but characters that aren’t capable of facetanking multiple bosses at once are pretty much fucked if you get a bad boss combo. I hate that arena with a burning passion. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thankfully, that arena disappears from the rotation after a little while, and the ones that follow are far more palatable.

I hate that arena with a burning passion.

And then Garbagol with spawning adds…funny…
