So I crafted the Heart of Darkness, that talks about an ashen altar, I went to the altar of ratosh, near Barrowholme where there is the Chtonic rift, but nothing happens…
Is there another ashen altar ?

Solution:

[SPOILER]In the Tomb of Herald Mathis, in the room where you can see the hidden door, there’s a loose torch which opens a way to the door (and unlocks it). You need to have Ivonda’s Memory in your inventory though, don’t give it back to her! Entering the door grants the Mad Stash achievement.

I’m not sure if it only works on Ultimate or on the lower difficulties too.

That’s exactly what I did. I have memory in my inventory, went for the tomb, torch is NOT active. Figuring it out was easy, but it just doesn’t fucking work no matter what I do. I can’t click it. Tried different versions (steam, drm-free), different stages (before finding memory, after finding memory, before speaking to ivondra, after speaking to ivonda and not giving it to her, after giving it to her). This is the only thread I found where it’s mentioned, but in Discord and here it seems to work, but not for me. WHAT THE FUCK. Can’t post screenshot, because I don’t have enough posts, but you can open WgOywJw.jpg on imgur. I have cursor exactly on torch in screenshot and it’s not active (memory is in inventory, bottom right corner).

Also does anyone have a screen of Dravis’ flower? I am done with the Blazeheart quest so don’t have that clue in my possession and rerunning the rift doesnt yield it. I need to see the text on it

So, in order to do this do we need to keep the flower that drops in the Cinder Wastes from the thrall to open up the vines in Nane’s stash spot or can we safely had it over to Daila? I’m assuming maybe not, but I’ll find out tomorrowish when I get to Malmouth.

So so far its

1. Ashen Altar
2. Flame meets flame
3. Thorned flower

It seems anything starting with a capital letter is important. So the word Blue can also be considered important but the fact that the blue altar gave us a blue sword (the one and only), and it says “do not be so Blue”, I am guessing that’s a dead end

So the key clues are now

1. Ashen Altar for Heart of Darkness
2. Flame Meets Flame
3. Thorned Flower

The Ashen Wastes has also been eliminated, the Cinder wastes and Fringes of Sanity yield nothing. So my best bet now is Ugdenbog since that’s where the flower grows but I already scoured the area (before I had the hidden note and HoD)

I found this altar but nothing happens.I believe it’s not the right one.Or do I need to search in the next void area ?

Two more flames needed, or atleast one more since the note says where flame meets flame. I am not sure but those two seem related just keep them in your inventory at all times

One blue flame is to the south of the rift in Crown Hill. But they’re blue candle flames, not the blue urn flames[/spoiler]

How do I put the Blue in the jar? :eek: (Also there’s a circle outside the door of that building with the blue flame. It’s empty i.e w/o a sigil. It should be noted that the urn is very different from the one on the shrine’s ritual circle)

Would asking what the heck I do with the flame spoil it? If so then should I explore further?

I’ve bumped into a blue zombie named Flameond Bleu in the Malmouth Outskirts a couple of times now…I’m wondering if you have to somehow lure him inside of that sigil or…something?
