Dear devs: My Bug Reports

i’m reporting the bugs that you haven’t got on your list yet [ v 0.7.2 ]

  • on big cities with many villagers, when they try to deposit any material to any facility (especially happening on waste) they drop it on the ground, pick it up, drop it, pick it up (this verry fast, 30 times per second)
as a side effect this causes the production to get stuck for a year, after a year the bug fixes itself until it starts again for some unknown trigger.

  • work required increases instead of decreases, trigger unknown (cant put picture since the forum limits me to one embeed<- thats another bug, not a feature, haha!

  • material required for building something adds up to the right side when added to the left side, as a result… you can see in the pic

  • regenerating a new map from the “pause menu” takes 15 minutes to load, sometimes it hangs up and crashes

  • my pc specs? ryzen 7 5800x3d, ddr5 ram 128gb, 2x 2070S (sli), 2tb m2 ssd

  • i have unity(the engine) and other dev tools running in background, could this cause these problems with the game? (should not but who knows?!)

Given that it’s Unity and that means anything is possible, try without those running and let us know if the issue repeats.

This is most likely due to a memory leak with the reroll/restart process we are working on to address.

confirming! having unity engine open bugs the game up, i playd arround 10 hours without unity running in background, no such weird problems.

as soon as i started unity and did navmesh bake it bugged the game heavily, i’m not sure if the processes of unity itself interfer with the game or if its just the cpu load of both (the game and unity editor) tho my cpu can take it easily.
