Demolitionist's grenades : clunky to use?

It just seems that throwing skills like grenado,stun jacks,bwc,canister etc. are quite sluggish and clunky to use compared to other spells.

The fairly low throw range and the frustatingly long air time/throw speed make them a bit underwhelming and not that enjoyable to use, especially in close quarter environments and fast moving mobs. The delay between throwing them and the time of impact is quite huge.

What do you think. Is it feasable to increase the velocity of the grenades/bombs?

Them grenades have a trajectory yes, but I don’t think they are clunky, because they are consistent. The only thing I would call clunky is Bloody Pox

You will need to aim ahead a bit and that will be fine. At least they have huge AOE

Would be cool if they were lobbed and explode on impact with ground like volcanic orb in TQ not thrown in a straight line basically and explode at first obstacle it meets.

I agree with this, although when that grenade hits… things disintegrate.

Projectile speed of grenado and stun jack is pretty acceptable, at least for me.

In a difference of BWC, which completely ruins the gameplay, especially for those playing more aggressively - with rapid movements/turnarounds and higher MS.
Fast mobs which use to kite just add insult to the injury.

I know there’s one Rifle that increases Projectile speed, there may be more, I’m not sure.

Maybe make Increased Projectile speed available from Devotions? Or add a small amount to Epics/Legendaries that support the “lob” skills. Another way would be to add it somewhere in the Demolitionist skills.

The “lob” skills were improved at one point, but still feels slightly clunky because of the projectile speed. Sometimes it feels off because the projectile takes way longer to impact than expected, especially when throwing short distances.

if I remember well BWC has a similar projectile speed as grenado and canister bomb but it has the advantage of exploding right away when it hits the ground.

Stun Jacks have more of a problem with extremely low range.

Grenades just take some time to get used to, its more so they are not so great in ultimate, as the CD is too long, but up until that point they are a great skill and they especially work well in shorter range due to the instant explosion, which is what I mainly use.

Stun Jacks, while short ranged, also is one of those few skills that can Shotgun like crazy, and has great single target - but requires you to be in melee range, which is a good tradeoff.

I am okay with these skills and find them fun to use.

All Demo skills are clunky to use, outside of Fire Strike. In fact demo would suck very hard if not for his OP passives.
