So I’ve recently started playing Grim Dawn for the first time, and am currently sitting at level 52 as a dual pistol Sorcerer (with 21 Devotion points unlocked).
I’ve currently completed Crane, Tortoise and Dryad, and have put enough points into Scales to get Tip the Scales (following a combination of various devotion suggestions.
What I’m looking for are suggestions for where to go next (or indeed, for better things to take than my current devotion selection), constellations to avoid and so on.
Just only tortoise is fine. You may need it for many builds around sorc and early investment give you time to lvling it till max(20).
(I think Dryad isn’t necessary for most offensive build and often consider as a last option for defensive)
Behemoth and Chariot of the Dead are more interesting.
Other devotion just aim for giving +X% elemental or your prefer dmg type around (fire/cold). Try to grab Rhowan’s Crown because you’ll absolutely need them in most builds and for lvling it till max too.
The reason to spending early game devotion points is
For leveling the procs to max level fast.
Get specific % dmg type boost
To get the colour for further constellation requirement.
What is this, some shooty build? You need to max your main attack skill. Take points from everywhere and use them to max demo mastery and brimstone like here
you should have done that some ten levels ago. All the skills I’ve taken points from can be improved or maxed later. What are you using BWC for? Damage? Debuff? If damage, you won’t have enough points to use it together with complete firestrike line. If its debuff only, you can remove some points from it at least for now.
In devotion, you can go for either Ulzuin’s torch or Tree of Life. Get Solael’s witchblade and Rhowan’s crown, you will need their granted skills for debuff. If you want to use rifles, you will also need Kraken
