I’ve got a druidbuild and had about 10800hp at lvl 66… Now I used a bunch of aethercrystals to get arcane bomb since I wanted to try it out and lost 2000 hp. As far as I can tell I removed two 5% life nodes and one 80hp node but added a 6% and a 4% plus one 100hp node. Kinda thought I’d get more life not less…
Anyone that can figure out what went wrong?
I turned 65 with the same hp before all the latest patches so could it be there was changes made that removed things that didn’t update until j swapped around stuff?
Huh. It’s really hard to tell exactly what happened without a good before-and-after snapshot of your devotions, gearing and so on. I mean, I can venture a guess as to what your before-and-after looked like, but it won’t do much good. Guessing you went Lion (because that’s where the 100HP node is and where the 4% HP node is) and before you had both Order and Chaos Crossroads nodes (the two 5% HP nodes available that I know of), but beyond that I’m kind of lost. Would it be possible to recreate your before and after builds in GrimCalc and post them? I know GrimCalc isn’t the best for mapping devotion choices, but it works. Sort of.
Hehe, yeah, sorry, a bit tired. I do have both those crossroads nodes actually but still do. I haven’t changed any gear at all.
I had 3 points in Targo the builder (15 defensive, 5% hp, 5% hp)
I had the whole Dryad (it has the 80 hp) (5points) and the whole panther (4points).
I swapped them for 2 remaining points in scales of ulcama (6% hp and some energy regen)
the Lion (3 points) (100 hp and 4%, you assumed correctly there)
and 6 points in the widow.
there’s even a point missing. wtf. Just noticed. I should have 1 more point to spend right, also nothing else changed (besides my aether crystal stash almost empty).
Edit: Just for the record, no gear has changed and I can still wear every single item on it.
Yeah, I forgot to turn on my aura. I now have 11124 hp which is more than before.
I could still argue one point went missing somewhere but I probably can’t count anyways
I’m also using tortoise, empty throne, hawk, chariot of the deadBe and so far 3 points in Behemoth, life regen and the skill.
I should have 11 points left, of which 4 will probably be targo the builder (10% hp and 300 base hp), can you recommend something else? (might as well make use of this thread)
If you’re building a tank and you’re focusing on Order affinity, I suppose those nodes in Targo are as good as any. Maybe one more in Behe (the right foot is a decent node). Idk. Are you angling for Tree of Life as your T3 devotion at all? What’s your current affinity spread look like?
a bit spread out I just went for hp and some damage and res, ended up here. That’s why i wanted to change some things to get the 18% aether res and try the arcane bomb that i noticed here on the forum… Was trying to improve on the build a bit, just in case i might need it later
I was using Dryads blessing (it’s lvl 19) for a long time since it’s 33% chance to procc and heals some, but figured I could try the bombs anyways…
Maybe the Kraken for some added dmg?
I’m using maxed primal strike (+ the ones after) and stormcallers pact and 10/12 brute force atm. maxed inner focus and maivens sphere for some added protection. On bosses i use a wendigo totem maxed.
My crit chance is usually around 15-25% depending on what i’m hitting, so I crit a lot. Also using an empowered falcons claw (axe)
its all self found so, rest of gear is of varying greatness :p.
Ah, ok, so you’re a… melee Druid? Kraken would be a good thing to get if you’re going 2H, yes. Your affinities are indeed very scattershot and it might be a good idea to refocus your affinities towards a certain T3 constellation (though T3s are hardly mandatory, they are occasionally really good coughTreecough). You can probably do Widow, Kraken and still get the needed affinity for Tree.
Tree does wonders for survivability. Healing Rain is a great proc, and the other nodes on Tree are all fairly solid in some respect IMO.
That said, again, it’s not mandatory and it’s perfectly possible to have a great build without a T3 constellation at all. Feel free to play it by ear until you have a bunch of aether crystals to spend on respeccing, honestly.
I did use up a whole bunch to make the changes I just made, since I apparently planned it more than I thought earlier with a lot of nodes carrying themselves, meaning they were hard to remove
